Never Seen

If I had to stay in hiding, I would not like it. I agree with Margot when she said that she was ready for it to be over. I do not think it was right for Mrs. Frank to say she should be ashamed. Mrs. Frank has already had her fun of childhood. Anne, Margot, and Peter will never get these years back and "in my opinion" I think those are the best years. There is not as much to worry about. I feel bad for all of them to have to stay in hiding. I feel the worse for the the younger ones because I am younger. I think that they are not even getting a chance to see what they want from the world. The adults know what they want. The kids have not had enough experience to know. Eventually if they do get out, where will they start to rebuild their life? I think they are lucky to be alive. Also, I think whatever is coming their way they should get it over with. They can not stay in hiding forever. Maybe the war will be over soon. The kids are not getting to be social and are very isolated from the world. I do not know much about this, but I do not think that it is good for them. They are also not getting the lessons of life they need. The parents lived before this has happened and does not need to dream about it. It's kind of like them taking the test before studying . The kids will have to start late in the game and experience the things after the fact that most people do.

Getting caught

The "family" thought they were caught. It was only a robber. I liked that they were not worried about the money. In most stories I think they would have freaked when the money was taken. Peter, is always getting blamed for everything. I think his father is not happy with him. His father is always getting mad at him for everything. Today when we read the a man that Mr. Frank knows told Mr. Kraler he remembers a door where that bookcase was. He also is demanding his pay increased. The "family" is hiding behind the bookcase. I think he is the robber that came. I do not think he will tell the green police though. He will demand money because he knows he can get it. After all he was Mr. Franks friend. I also can not believe that Mr. Frank would sell something so dear to Mrs. Frank to get something like cigarettes that are bad for you. Maybe if it was for something more important I would think differently. Also today in the story Meip brought them a cake. Something that stuck out to me was that it took weeks of sugar rations to make it. That means they do not get much sugar. No wonder they are so skinny they never eat cake or any other sweets.

Mornings and I.O.Us

I like to learn about things that happened in history, like the Holocaust. We are learning about it in English. We are reading Anne Frank. She had to go into hiding. I feel bad that Anne and the "family" can not lurk about in the morning. I would not like that too much, because I am always busy.
At Hanukkah Anne MADE her gifts for everyone. She made her mother an I.O.U. Today we had to get ten hours of whatever my parents say, as an I.O.U. It will not be to hard to get the ten hours. I am always doing chores in the house, it is just my routine. It was very smart of her to make homemade presents. Anne is my favorite character so far.

Skiing

I am going skiing this Friday with my church!!! I am coming back Monday night. We are going to West Virginia.
The trip is going to take about 10 hours. Ashley is a girl that goes to my church. She and I both have brown hair and kind of dark skin. We both ended up with the same jacket and pants. I can not believe it. It is going to be funny if someone gets us mixed up. At church they already do they really will now.
