The "family" thought they were caught. It was only a robber. I liked that they were not worried about the money. In most stories I think they would have freaked when the money was taken. Peter, is always getting blamed for everything. I think his father is not happy with him. His father is always getting mad at him for everything. Today when we read the a man that Mr. Frank knows told Mr. Kraler he remembers a door where that bookcase was. He also is demanding his pay increased. The "family" is hiding behind the bookcase. I think he is the robber that came. I do not think he will tell the green police though. He will demand money because he knows he can get it. After all he was Mr. Franks friend. I also can not believe that Mr. Frank would sell something so dear to Mrs. Frank to get something like cigarettes that are bad for you. Maybe if it was for something more important I would think differently. Also today in the story Meip brought them a cake. Something that stuck out to me was that it took weeks of sugar rations to make it. That means they do not get much sugar. No wonder they are so skinny they never eat cake or any other sweets.

Oh, I like the comment from Karson Kay!
Good blog, too.
Here's the grammar errors -
No comma after Peter (Peter is always...)
And it's Mr. Van Daan, not Mr. Frank, who is selling his wife's coat
You need a comma after "...if it was for something more important, I would..."
So, are you giving up anything?
Mrs. C
Thanks, I will fix my mistakes. I am giving up sweet tea. Most people are giving up soft drinks. I do not like soft drinks.
