Rock or Feather

After the ITBS test my class played a game called rock or feather. In the game there would be two choices like a rock or a feather. Then you had to choose which one described you the most. There was one side of the room for one choice and another side for the other. I personally liked the game. It was interesting to hear about what people thought about why the object was like them. It really got me thinking about the way I was. I think it made me stop and think, okay what in that object is like me. I had to think of all my traits and I discovered more than I usually think about. Also, I had to make a choice on which one. I could not just choose both. I had to think about ME. Sometimes it was weird to be on a side with four people and the rest of the class on the other. It also let me see other peoples traits that I have not noticed. Sometimes one side would say stuff and it sounded really good for them but made the other side sound like horrible people. But I also saw you did not necessarily have to like the object better than the other to choose it. It was describing YOU. For example, one was mansion or small country house. Most people choose small country house and talked about a family getting along better, they did not want to live in a big showy house, or people who live in mansions are snobby. I guess in one way it described them. I with a couple of other people choose a mansion and people just assumed it was because we like to spend money. I did not choose it because I personally liked mansion better. I choose it because it had plenty of room to let people in and that was like the way I do not only have certain friends I like to have them all over the place. Another interesting factor is that different people would all have different answers for the same thing. It shows that we had to be creative to come up with a reason on why we picked it. I think that game was a great game and I forgot all about the time while playing it. It was something I liked to play and I think other people could say the same thing.

I liked the game, too, because of the different reasons.

Don't use this lime-green color anymore. It's hard to read. Green is okay, but make it darker.
